Overlays are a transparent layer that gets added on top of your stream as a browser source to your OBS or streamlabs. In the case of my products, they allow viewers to click directly on your stream to trigger on-stream events, but it only works for Twitch streamers since it relies on Twitch extensions.

Unless you have other products using Heat already, I reccommend using GreenHeat. It works for mobile, and does everything Heat can plus more.
Many are hand drawn / 3d modelled and rigged by myself live on stream, but I also make use of CC-0 and purchased assets. In the future I'd like all my overlays to use commissioned artists but for now I'm working with what I can afford and ensuring not to use any art which has been generated by AI.
I do ask ChatGPT or Claude general questions sometimes when I get stuck. While I don't use it frequently or to generate art I want to be transparent since the topic is quite promenant at the moment. I stream all my work, you can see my whole process over on Twitch!
Webhosting the overlays (instead of sending the local files) has proven more reliable for customers and it also allows me to serve updates to existing customers automatically.
